Who Am I?

Welcome to my page!

I am a plumber and gas fitter with 16 years experience, who has taken the initiative to transition from plumber to teacher. I had wanted to do this for quite some time, but it took a back injury, and a realization that I cannot continue on the tools, to finally make the decision, which then occurred in November, 2019.

I am married, have 2 wonderful dogs, as well as 2 step children.

My hobbies include travelling, snowboarding, body building, hiking, and road trips. In fact I was supposed to compete in my first bodybuilding competition this year, but it was cancelled due to Covid-19.

I also love to cook; My husband and I enjoy craft beer tastings and fresh, locally sourced food.

I was once on a TV show in Canada called " Come Dine With me" where I prepared a 3 course meal and entertained 4 other local contestants. We were rated out of 10 by each other, where I scored an 8. It was a super fun experience!
